OK, this is the best I could do. No WACOM, just scanned pencil drawing, colored with a mouse. Tell me what you think, give me some tips or suggestions, what ever. I'm not done with it, but at this point I wanna know what I can do to improve it. Thanks in advance! Silly me, I forgot to post a link! http://www.geocities.com/cloudman23/boba.jpg <---drag into address bar.

Before a mad scientist goes mad, there's probably a point when he is only partially mad, and this is when he throws his best parties.

Think about light and shadow. They are what creates the illusion of form.
What you have is flat. Work on the light.
And as a scaned art tip, either avoid the scratchmarks, or turn off the pencil layer when you`re done.
See the :FAQ: for more painting info. You can also run a ssearch of the :FAQ: for Paint and find even more cool stuff.

I think it looks good so far though I agree with DB, it would be cool if you could turn off the pencil layer so we could see the actual painting without scratch marks. That aside, I like the drawing - this could look quite cool when you're done. I'd definitely add more light and dark tones and tighten up on the painted edges so they're not so blurry. More definition around the scuff marks of the helmet would be nice. Maybe a different colour light rather than just white or different tones of your chosen colours... It's a bit hard to see really with your pencil marks still there.

Love to see this when you're finished. Hope you post some more progress shots.
