Hey guys, would this effect be considered "glass"?

If it is, can you learn this using glass tuts?

Google:Search Web:Photoshop Glass Tutorials

There are so many results it will make you sick of the phrase "Check out my glass button tutorial!"

Before a mad scientist goes mad, there's probably a point when he is only partially mad, and this is when he throws his best parties.

I`m not from Indiana, but I`m pretty sure they have glass there...look around.

A more direct answer might be...No. But it is shiny.

These will help get you started. You can adapt these techniques to suit your form and refractive index.

I'm from Indiana and can say for a fact that there is glass in Indiana. Although some parts of Gary have more broken glass than stuff like that. I'd suggest that you stop by Southlake Mall (its not too far from Gary) and stop by one of those glass shops, or the hippy stores and check out the bongs (for tobacco only according to them). but thats not the common glass effect. its nice though.

As this is such an important issue I thought I'd better double check:
http://www.google.com/search?q=is+there+glass+in+Indiana%3F
http://web.ask.com/web?q=is+there+glass+in+Indiana%3F

And the answer appears to be: yes there is glass in Indiana - in fact there is such a thing as Indiana glass and there is a Glass Museum.

No, it is just a bunch of pixels arranged together in a way they resemble a real life object.

And to top it all we are now number 11 at Google for the term 'Indiana Glass' (at least when I checked):

Either this site is much more popular than I previously thought, or we've got a member that works for/on Google.

(EDIT: Oh yah, Alevice, have you seen the Dilbert where Wally gets the bikini pictures confiscated from him? Your comment reminded me of it. DAMN those godless auditors )

I have not seen it. =/

But your comment and the fact that google keeps and keeps mentioned reminded me that Google once had a season with Dilbert in their logos. =P

You have glass in your part of Indiana? We still use wax paper of the widow holes.

<edit: can't spell neither>
