I am a Photoshop learner. I have already used Photoshop for a while (around 6 months continiously). Now I almost feel knowing the features in it but still can't find anything to make some creativity. Can someone tell me how to be creative with it or some exercises for me with solutions too?

Or even a better way to understand PS.

First of all, welcome here Xmanli. I hope you'll enjoy your stay

Be sure to read the :FAQ:

As to being creative with Photoshop... Well, I think this is something personal. I think everybody here has his/her own way to use Photoshop, but basically, we all like doing something special with Photoshop. Some are interested in dissecting the most avanced techniques in PS, some like to create animated signatures, some like to create wallpapers. In my opinion, to be fully creative with Photoshop, you'll have to find something you like doing with it. Photoshop allows you to do almost anything, so I would be very surprised if there wasn't something youwould be creative at.

Furthermore, there are hundreds of tutorials on the Internet. Most of time, reading and practising some of them can give you interesting ideas. For example, after reading a tutorial about adjusting curves, you'll want to do some photo editing, or after learning how to create planets you would enjoy creating by yourself a whole space scenery.

Another thing you may try is the Repeat Performance (hopefully it won't end...).

maybe you need someone to give you a little direction...how's this for direction:

1. Create a sig for yourself in Photoshop that utilizes your Asylum nickname, Asylum colors, not jaggie, and is transparent (without a white halo).

Thanks all of you. This is my very first time to receive some positive respond.

I think I would have to come here often.

I will try all your suggestions.
