Hi there,

I'm about to embark on a multi-lingual site (two linguals actually: Norsk og Engelsk). I'm looking for suggestions here.
Do you suggest a client side browser solution (maybe XML or CSS), or how about ASP (server side).

My first inclination would be to go with a server-side solution, I'm a fairly good ASP coder.

If a client-side solution: not sure where to start. Does anyone know of any tuts on such?

If a server-side solution: i can probably pull this off, but all suggestions are welcome.

Thanks!
Karl

I'd go for server-side so you could have English and Norwegian versions of the graphics with say home_en.gif and home_no.gif and get ASP to spot when lang=no and adjust accordingly. Hold the big sections in includes or in a DB and possibly have a table with common words: next, previous, etc. which you can quickly grab out.

Thats what I'd do anyway (we are adding a multilingual option to the GN redesign so it is on my mind at the moment). It depends on the number of pages, etc. You just have to be thorough and consistent otherwise it will look sloppy.
