Is this possible?
I have a page I am creating and if 800x600 or smaller I don't need the bkg file. However if larger than 800x600 I want the file to show..is this possible?

Yes, but you'd need to use Javascript to detect the size of the browser window.

Although I'm curious as to why you'd need to do this. Will the background not work in the smaller resolutions? If it still works but itsn't actually needed then I'd just leave it in and save yourself the trouble.

I resolved that problem a different way..
I do have a different question though.

Do you know how to make a cell (of a table) bkg not repeat?

Shifter: See the specs:
http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-CSS2/colors.html#background-properties

background-repeat seems like what you want.
