Hi, guys. Would you possibly know what these code mean????

quote:
<head>
<meta name="author" content="Jan Egil Refsnes">
<meta name="revised" content="Jan Egil Refsnes,6/10/99">
<meta name="generator" content="Microsoft FrontPage4.0">
</head>

What are "revised" and "generator"? Are they necessarily to put on the site?

that's meta-data created by Front Page so that they can keep track of the pages that are made with their software. If I were you, I'd rip that code right out, because FP is crap.

...In other words, it's not integral to the functionality of the site. At all.
