www.embege.com/yearbook
no big changes, but i upgraded to the latest overlib script and added an empty row to the top for future yearbookers. (which was the most trouble since all the coordinates changed)
mr.max, if you are reading this. i noticed that you are using something similar for the locator and you are parsing a NO@SPAM inside the emailadress. how did you do that with javascript? or is it php?

Good work Grumble! The yearbook has/is always (been) a hooot! With the recent spate of new inmates I think a few more rows are about to be added. <lol>

Grumble, I'm adding NO & SPAM words directly in PHP, but the same thing can be done with JavaScript...
In members.js replace this:
message += '<a href="mailto:NO'
message += person[1]
message += 'SPAM">'
message += person[1]
message += '</a>'
With this:
message += '<a href="mailto:'
message += person[1].replace(/@/, "_NO_@_SPAM_")
message += '">'
message += person[1].replace(/@/, "&#64;")
message += '</a>'
BTW While you're editing members.js, you can remove NO & SPAM words from my array (my e-mail already has them in array that represent my data)...

thanks, mr.max!
so come people, bring it on!
i wanna see some of the oldschool people in there too!
edit: max, why that line:
person[1].replace(/@/, "@") ?
isnt person[1] holding the emailadress anyways?

Neato!
By the way - is there a way to update the information? Or do I just have to put my info in and it's replaced automatically?

Good work Grumble
But when I'm using Mozilla it is a very difficult to highlight the links(homepage and email), when I try to move the mouse over them the 'box' dissapears

yes, i noticed this too.
its because the offset isnt working correctly in mozilla.
a box always disappears when another box comes active.
maybe i modify it, that it only disappears when you click on a close-link, like max uses on the locator.

I had a trooper once, but I lost it I think. Where could I make a new one, I forgot.
Also, is there a post amount you have to reach before you are inducted into the yearbook?

Adrock, read the FAQ...just follow the link that Emps posted, and read it through. All the information is in there that you need.
And since post count really means nothing here, I don't think it depends on post count....
