Hello,

I have created an image of a wooden panel and now would like to put text on it. I'm looking to do an effect where it looks like the text is burned into the wood, or if that's not possible, have it look engraved into it. Can anyone help??

My standard response.....you're at Doc's forum -- try his tutorials.....kinda makes sense <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/smile.gif"> and not only that, they're the best damn tutorials you'll find anywhere.

haha!! I;ve has to do this before...look up the 'Burn' thread in this forum. Just do that inset technique, but with a fairly largish, proportionally, font size. Then apply the diffuse fillet. keep it close, and it should look like you used a branding iron.
