Dark, Nell, what's the fun of having some effects change the pic into chaos?

GraFFix, what's the idea behind it and how did you get it that way? Just some effects or much drawing? Still love the first one most.

Well thanks Liluth, there really is'nt any idea behind that image except for it being abstract and colorfull. it is just what I came up with. everything in that image is from this weeks picture except for the aliens that are faded into it and the text. I know the text is hard to read but that was the way I wanted it I could of made the text bolder and stick out but that wasnt the effect I was looking for. basically I cut the colors out of the pic of the week and then continued to play with blur the transform tool and multiply layer then I looked and viola this is what I got. It now rests peacfully as my background.


Lots of good work, I like simple images like this because it brings out the imagination in all of us, when i first saw it I didnt even know where to start, after a while the imagination takes over and when that happens I dont think you can make a bad image. I like all the work done so far, I know that I'm i no position to critique anyones work since i consider myself still all the amature stage. but Just wait till I know what im doin.

RP was set up so that everyone could play with PS and post without judgement and fear of their work being put down. Some here will make your mouth drop to the floor and strange noises come from it and some will make you wonder why they even bothered. However, it's all about fun and learning. A area of the forum there is no worries about posting your work here. A place you are not judged or put down. So please....let's not put others work down here.

Suggestions TP? Maybe a thumbnail, or a link ?

Not sure how you got it there, but possibilities include (hair is hard ) a nice tight mask, with a 1 or 2 px feathered edge, if you have a good color contrast to begin with, relpace color, or selective color, or if not, a really small paint brush , among others.

Diamondii - amazing. Great image! Is there any chance you will give me permission to use it for a flyer?
