Hey all,

While the number of sigs was not what I had hoped for, the entries that were submitted were great. But as things go with a "contest" there must be winners...

Honorable Mention: Hugh with the Hypno Toad from Futurama


I am not even sure if this was an official entry as it was in the chat thread and not posted in the contest thread, but I just LOVED it! It was the right mix of nostalgia and made me laugh. I really miss that show!

Runner Up: Lacuna and Bewitched


This was an incredible sig. I wrestled back and forth who I though should win and half the time this sig won. Personally I liked it more before the blue backgroud went in, but only in this forum. On another board I am sure the blue would work great. Regardless it was a fantastic piece of work!

Winner: mahjqa with the Kitt sig


For me this was perfect. I loved the idea, concept, execution, everything. It is simple but says so much. How can anyone look at that sig and not know what it is? I just loved this sig!

Yay! I won! Some may be surprised that this is only my second sig award. I'm not the bogeyman, you gotta be afraid of Docilebob, who won a whopping 4 awards so far.

For the next one, I was thinking about the subject: "use your head".

The point is to use a picture or a drawing of your head (possibly also another body part , but leave out the PA's*) in a sig. Examples would be Wes' new sig:



Or my matrix one.


However, nothing's official yet. If anybody has any siggestions, I'd love to hear them.

*If you don't know, you're better off not asking.

i thought that was a great topic and am really disappointed there weren't more entries.

Considering that alot of people here may have neither a scanner, digital camera or photo of their head in a digital format, I don't know if the 'use your head' idea is really fair. Beyond that though, I have absolutly no ideas as to what to do...so I'm leaving it up to you.

How about the type of sig that was almost a mini-contest this month?

Don't know what you would call it... The Equasion Sig? The Pictograph Sig?

There were some VERY clever sigs also dipicting names without words recently too...
