I have mentioned this to some people but this is the preliminary launch of my FOAFing the GN (all the information is over in the GN):

Basically FOAF is a XML/RDF language to describe the connections between people. The connections between people form a very different web and one which is just as important.

The Ozone family is a perfect testbed for this kind of thing - thanks to the Doc's dedication to cross-disciplinary excellence he has drawn together a lot of people who spread out across the web to a wide variety of different communities (graphics, coding, etc.) and FOAF is an excellent way of describing our connections and interactions. As the tools develop we can visually display these networks and connections in interesting ways.

There are various other aspects like it becoming a decentralised way of proving your identity, etc.

So basically I have FOAFed the GN so all registered users have a FOAF file based on their user data. I'm still fixing the tools but you can already add your connectivity with other Gurus and in a few days you will be able to add more details about yourself and various other things.

I think it is very interesting and important and I'd like your input on it

I'll be honest with you, I read the thread over at GN, even followed the links, and I still can't figure out what this really is...
