Suppose you could flap your arms and fly. Not too high, maybe just a slow hover. Plus, one arm is stronger than the other, so you tend to spin just a bit. You're also not just spinning in place, but spinning around in a small, slow circle. THEN the landscape, it might move just like that, with the closest things moving slowly, and the farther things faster. Plus, it looks cool. ;) The green, it really isn't that bad, but the buttons should be more of the same color as the window, and right now they aren't even close! I've got PSD templates and scripts for hacking things up quickly, I expect I'll have new images in place later tonight.
