My suggestion would be to either make it lighter or make it darker and go with white (or a light colored--perhaps just a lighter shade of the color?) text. Personally, I think white on a darker blue would look nice. The low contrast in your title also means that it is one of the last things the eye is drawn to, and that's probably not what you want. As for the content, that's your call. It is a blog, after all. Still, you might want to think of moving the review down and putting a simple introduction to you and your site at the top.
