Hi there.
Figured it might be a good idea to have an updated CV online since I've lost my job...

So here it is, it's supposed to be clean and easy to read, yet modern and not too boring...
Am I getting close? http://www.dmsproject.com/cv2002/

Yes, it's in swedish only, that's where I'm searching for jobs...
It's all in CSS and works ok in IE6, Mozilla, Opera 5 on PC (NS4 is unsupported)

Any mac users or IE4 users out there to test it?
Thanx for your time/Dan

works out well here, IE5
except for under "Områden:" and "Verktyg:" the boxes are in different size and therefor also the grey bar at the bottom...did you get that?

as you said its clean and easy to read. like that
but since you wanted a review....this is just some minor things....

the links "Inledning Arbetsprover Utbildningar Övrigt": why place them over the grey? I didnt like that...my first reflection as i opened the page...

I wouldnt complain if you gave the pages more space, one or two <br> at the end of each headline.

how about a lighter grey as background for the headlines??

arbetsprover: you have use a different style the headlines: "Integris AB", "Anställd hos Netmolecule" and "Anställd på SJ" i suppose those headlines should be bigger then the others on the same page - me being picky...

over and out...

hallon, thanx!
Picky is good, that's why I ask. I did the site in 5 hours and I'm a bit blind to it right now.

- The boxes... Yup, there is a problem with those... I guess I'll have to give them a runover again (maby a flatbed truck might fix them...

- The top link-bar, it sort of placed itself there then, the more I looked at it, I liked it. It doesn't feel as "flat" with it like this.

- More space between sections, good catch, I'll take care of that.

- Lighter grey, maybe. I'll give it a try (the nice thing about css, it's so easy to test stuff

- The headlines, clearly a mistake from me, you're absolutley right on that one.

Me like this place ;-)

<edit>If you have an older browser like NS3 or something, take a look and see a nicely degrading page "woot!" </edit>
Thanx/Dan

Just curious ... It looks like you have your birthday listed. I know that here in the states it is recommended NOT to put personal information like birthdates, marital status, number of kids and the like on the resume. Is it needed on yours?

Needed... don't know, most ppl do over here, at least on the paper version so I put it up here as well.

Over here our version of social security number is the personal number plus some digits. That however I wouldn't put on the web...
Thanx for the note though!
