Rumour has it http://www.icklepix.com/ doesnt work on IE5.1 for a mac could some one have a look, could it be something to do with opacity stuff ? anywho please tell if it doesnt work and why if possible.

I made the site for IE4+ and NS6, so if other browser users could refrain from telling me about how neglected Opera is feeling, I'd appreciate it , thanks

I plan on making my next design, super-compatable, with no frames(it uses an iframe), Emporer should be pleased

Hew: Indeed will be happy indeed. If you want a Mac test you could try posting this over in the GN and see if you can get Steve's attention (there aren't many Mac users that I know of around these parts apart from Jeni and Steve).

OK, I just tested this on my Macintosh, using IE5.1, and I see the top frame, I see the bottom frame, but! After the "loading" screen I get nothing but an empty grey frame for the content frame. Bummer. (I love the site, though! (at least on my PC) The treatment of the email and guestbook forms, that was beautiful, loved it.)

Hew:

Nope ... same thing ... I can see the loading bit, I can see the top and bottom bars on the site, but nothing in the content area. It's a uniform light grey. What else can I tell you or do for you?

Again, I'm on IE 5.1 on a Mac ... I haven't tested it with any other browser (I'm not sure I have Shockwave or Flash installed on my other browsers)

Anamacha: Its not that I didnt trust you or anything, I was just hoping someone could say "See Line 47 there, theres your problem, change that p to q". Me site doestn use flash BTW.

Um thanks people, I think Im just gonna ignore you mac people until the new design, it should be good. Especially seeing as though I have my leaving cert in the next month, thats like A levels for you british, or SATs for americans, I think , important anywho.

and then theres a good chance Im gonna be moving out to an apartment, so I dunno when I get it done.

well, good luck with your exams, Hew ... and I certainly understand not having the time ... but IMO it's never a good idea to ignore us mac users ... ya never know when that'll come 'round to bite ya in the butt

Just for grins I tried this site under Netscape 4.76 (mac, of course) and I got even less far ... it shows the 'loading; screen with the spinny thing and then ... it just stays there. Nothing after that.

Sorry, I can't provide "line 47 is bad" type commentary ...
