Hi, this site is a "purely professional" template. I incorporated some more advanced scripts, including dynamic drives scroller at the expense of compadiblity. I am trying to display a clean, easy to navigate interface. Also, this is my 1st go at PHP, and I gotta say that it kicks SSI's a ss. I dont know how some people ay they dont use tables anymore, I still find them extremly usefull inaligning things. I put in witty satire in the template for your enjoyment. Anyways, here are main things I'm looking for on feedback:
[li]
*The preload page; do you like it or no? I added a skip option so you dont have to sit through it. Since the graphics are somewhat large, the viewers will see them befrore leaving a page (this doesnt make sense, but preloader yes/no?)
*The resizer; yes/no? Since the page only takes a small amount of space, I automaticly size it down for the user, but Im not sure how professional this is.
*I'm thinking of adding some streaming media in since the comapny is called timberview media solutions. I don't think this would be too intrusiv if there ws toggle switch and the music was off by default. If I do put music in, it would probablly classical, since it is non-offensive and Im less likely to get in trouble for copyright issues.
*If somone has NN4, can they tell me if the scroller still works of in that? It is supposed to, but I dont know how it looks, and if it flows with the site. Also, how does the dotted border degrade in older borwsers?
*General design, like/dislike? I usually stay away from iframe like site, but I found that cool script on dynmaic drive and made the entire site just to play around with it.
*anything else

Thanks for all the feedback!
edit: i am almsot ccertainly will dump the loading page and compress the images more, and get rid of the resizer to, unless tell me otherwise.

dmm1285.t35.com
that should work, if it doesnt hit refresh as the server is pretty slow sometimes

I got rid of the preloader as it broke the flow of the site complety. Instead I created (with some help with one of bugimus's script) a script that works similar to Netscape's lowsrc attribute, but works in IE as well. It is pretty inefficent, and I'm sure a js guru could make it 10 x tighter, but it works.

edit: Since it is kinda limited right now, when I tighten my code I plan:
to use arrary to create infintie images easy, right now it is innfecitent
create a cookie that last until the browser window is closed, and after the high quality images are loaded once, it goes directly to them, and skips the low quality images. Currently it loads the low quality images again even if the high quality are already in memory.
