I've also got to agree that it seems to lack focus. I know that the numbers are supposed to represent floors (right?), but as navigational elements they are flawed--that is, you have to mouse over them to find out what they do. I understand that sometimes you sacrifice things for the sake of design, but be careful of what you sacrifice. Maybe you could have a one-word description beneath the numbers as a sort of compromise? Then again, I'm just a usability freak, and it's not a fatal problem; go with what works for you. I'm also interested in seeing where this is going. I do like the graphics, by the way.
