However, when you make a site (or splash page or whatever) usually wise to take things like that into account :) On a personal note, I happen to dislike splash pages in general though. I always hated having to go through pages without anything on them except a link or two. There are cases where they can be appropriate, although I can't think of any off the top of my head...
