http://www.dfpunk.com/

I know there isn't much on it but im working on gathering it. I know it doesnt fit in 800x600. Many of the problem I know of. there are technical foul-ups I dont know about and that is what i would like to have reviewed. CSS and HTML code. If you would like the talk about the layout be my guest.

Every tip or comment is welcomed

Code wise I would advice you to use divs isntead of tables to do the layout. It is much easier to update and easier to read, imo. The form you use for 'hosting' would probably look better if the input fields were aligned to each other.

I'm not very found of the title graphics you use for the 'News', 'Affiliates', etc. It looks like the top and bottom of the text is missing. They are also a bit to 'blury' for my taste. There is also way to much black space between the the 'content areas' , but you probably now that allready.

You might also consider removing the 'boards' link until you get it to work. Right now you send the user into an empty directory. Maybe add a index file there saying that the boards will be up later sometime...

But it is a good start for only 6 hours of work.

Yah, try and cut back on those title images. They just don't fit the flow.

I'd also like to see a little more cohesion between the different page elements.

Black background? Just a suggestion, but slotting in a coloured background might spice things up a bit. Just something to give it a bit of an edge, kick some oomph into the colour scheme, that kinda thang.

Ohh ooh.. that grey has to go. Ok, the monotoned blue/purple thing from pure white to black was ok, a little overdone and stale (person gripe, feel free to ingore this) but dat flat grey. Nup. Gotta go. It's screamin colour at me. Well either that or it's this wicked C4 coffee roast I picked up the other day...

It's not bad but it needs somthing. It wants something. So give it!

I thank ya'll for the suggestions. I dont like hip hop or Linkin park. I can stand some rap, but "artist" like Nelly and Eve annoy me.Linkin park relies to heavily on its DJ.

The one thing I would like to do is make the title image conform to different resolutions, but I'm not sure on how to approach it. As far as the content titles go, the tops and bottoms are supposed to be like that. Also, the colors will probably get changed but I have too many choices, so do you think you could suggest colors. The use of tables is due to past experience with DIV tags. I had problems with the DIVs, but I am willing to give that a shot.

instead of using that header image in a table do like so:

body {
background: url(images/header_03.gif) no-repeat top
}

that will rid of the scrollbar problem but you'll have to find another solution to your image map navigation. That's a bonus side effect in my opinion, image map navigation is not always (hardly ever?) a good idea anyhow. Prolly need to reposition the site name in that graphic as well
