On the bright side, your "enter" link is text and pops up first, so the user can skip the image load. That's a refreshing change. I'd still dump the splash, though. It looks to me like you did this the hard way, judging by the way it loaded--and a look at the source confirms that. Tables? No, no--CSS, my friend. Much easier to build and much cleaner (both in terms of code and in terms of design)--and also easier to update. If you really want to go with tables, though, I would at least put some cellpadding in there so the text doesn't run right up against the edges. I would disable the button that links to each page on that page (ie, the "news" button on the "news" page, the "bio" button on the "bio" page). It can be disorienting to have a link directly back to the page you're already on. You also might want to do rollovers on those buttons to help distinguish (the current page button could already be in the "over" state). Other than that, not bad. Anything else would be a matter of personal taste. I've never been one for an all green scheme, but it doesn't seem too bad here. I see a link to the Asylum in your links section.
