Hmmm. Just a few points. Even if I thought the splsh page was necessary I wouldn't have made it so long that it scrolls vertically. And the tremulant black line doesn't really do much for me. Initially I didn't like the scrolling on the main page, with the X9 (which would make more sense as 9X?) superimposed over it, but if I went on the art page for example I thought all in all the scrolling worked pretty well. I think maybe since your using flash you could make the splash in flash as well, and then that could morph into the main page, or the buttons could just appear underneath. And on the subject of those buttons they need spicing up a little, at the moment they seem a little swamped on the pages with the red and the yellow. Sorry about that, I'm obviously in a mood this morning, so really those are just minor criticisms that dont even detract greatly from the site.

Get rid of the flash or make it compitable with older versions of flash. I use Linux and the newest flash version availabe for Linux is 5, so I only get to see the buttons and not the content...

I can't really see why you need the splash page, but if you decide to keep it make it 'lower' so the vertical scroll bar dissappears like quisja said.

Why do you use frames? I can't really see the use of them so you should remove them imo. You should also add a DOCTYPE to the pages. There are a couple of meta tags missing that you should add, like the description tag. To keep the site compilant with the new standards you should also close all of your tags.

Thanks for your comments
adjusted some things

I bored with standardized culture of Tokyo.
So, this is my style.. I've another site for my resume & portfolio which designed simply.

I used frames for the layout and navi-function and flash6 - I disabled too classic users. please install flash6 and which can display frames, or it ok to pass through this site.

Hmmm... ok, I was a little late in getting to this one.

First off, welcome to the Asylum. It's good to see some more elements from NE Asia getting involved in the Asylum. I will most probably refer to you as an indeterminate number of "x"s, or maybe even x9, depending on my mood. That's just the way I am, though.

Now, the site. Let's start with the splash page. Personally, I detest splash pages, but I do understand that to some extent it is a matter of personal preference, especially when it's a personal site. If I could make one suggestion on the animation, though... I do understand what you're trying to do with the squiggly line (film effect), but it just seems to be a bit too much. Try making the line less obvious, or at least not so jumpy. Go watch some old films and see what they look like.

You also use frames on the main page, another thing I detest. Again, another thing that is largely a matter of personal preference these days (since most of the early problems with frames have now been fixed). And, of course, the whole site is designed in Flash, which I also happen to be less than fond of.

But that doesn't mean you have three strikes against you. I do like some of the stuff you have up there. You have some very interesting art, and I really like some of your photos. In addition to the comments from my esteemed colleagues above, though, I do have some criticisms/questions.

1) The visitor does seem to have to go through a lot before reaching any actual content. Yes, I know it's only two clicks (well, scroll, click, then click again, actually), but it's a lot in this day and age when we expect to see content right in front of us when we enter a site. I would question the need for the "home" page, which doesn't really contain any information. Then again, it is interesting, and it does fit the mood/tone of the site.

2) The art menu really bugs me. In fact, I think it may be the most annoying part of the site for me. I really didn't like the fact that I had to fiddle around to get the menu to stay still, only to have it start moving again when I moved the mouse to click on something. Art or no, that is very bad design. Why not just make a scrollbar on the bottom? At the very least, tie the movement directly to mouse movement, ie, when the mouse stops, the scrolling should stop too. Although I'm not really keen on the whole scrolling thing, that would be better than what you currently have.

3) This is something minor, I suppose, but how about a loading indicator for the photos? It does take a while for some of them to load, and it is a bit disorienting at first to click on a link and just get a black screen staring back at you.

4) On the Info page, under "More Info," you have three boxes that give no indication of where they are going to take the user. Also, since it's Flash, we don't even have the status bar to go by. I would recommend text links, or at the very least something that gives the user a clue to where they will be taken. As it is now, I wasn't even sure if the boxes would lead to different places.

5) I'm wondering about the guestbook. There are a bunch of entries in there, but no comments. Is that just because no one has left any comments so far, or do you have to click something to see the comments--'cause I didn't see anything like that.

That's about it, I suppose. Not bad for a flash site. That's very high praise coming from me.
