I'm trying to remove all tables from my site... What do you think so far?

You should put all the style information into a separate stylesheet. That way the code will a lot easier to read and it will load a little bit faster. I would also remove the w3c validation images in the lower right. If you really want to have them at your site move them to someplace else and don't have them follow the bottom border like they do now. It is pretty anoying to have them there imo..
