It will be interesting to see what you come up with in terms of navigation/splash page. If you do end up keeping the splash page, I would recommend making the text graphic actual text to help you out with search engines and speed up load time. Yes, I think that's what bothered me about the mouseovers. There's also a semantic element to it, though: having a button being pressed fits more with a mouse click than a rollover. I've never actually liked mouseovers that look like a button being pressed down because they don't really make any sense. Another option would be to have the buttons "light" up when you mouseover. It's very easy to accomplish, and it's very effective as a rollover. Just an idea you might want to play around with. Loading...
