I agree that you should consider getting rid of the splash page. Although it is a cool graphic, most people are just irritated by splash pages no matter how cool it may be.

And about the page loading time, it was slow for me too which i know is because i am on a modem, but probably a lot of people who go to your site will be on crappy modems. So you still may want to consider doing something to lessen the load times.

But all in all, you're definitely on your way. Good luck.
