Of course, I hate cyan and any remotely related hue...so I am a bit biased in that regard. You needn't be concerned about it being too dark - the level of contrast and the overall readability is just fine. The one color choice I have a problem with is the link color...the #fe7. It clashes a little...it's too sharp for the environment that it is in. I would opt for something closer to #fff089....a bit more mild, as is the rest of the design.
