I was just thinking maybe the "margin" on the left is a bit large, and there is a bunch of wasted space over there. Maybe you could put the change color scheme thing over there, and perhaps the menu you have running across the top, that way if someone was reading your stuff, and they were half way through, if they wanted to go to something else, they could just click on the menu in the left margin. I don't know, just a suggestion.
