It had to be done inside a budget (only 2 days paid time - 1 for design, 1 for data upload and organisation), it had to fit a fairly tight brief (company colour scheme, etc.) and, once operational, the data had to be dynamic and maintainable by non-webbies. So I was fairly limited in scope, but I had a fair bit of freedom to set up the interface and data handling. The Thumbnail menus are generated dynamically with PHP (only the "Classical" menu has data in it at present) and the title and description will also follow the same principle (i.e they will switch with the images, and be loaded from text files). All I have to do now is wait for the client to hand me the balance of the initial dataset so I can finish the job off. It's a done deal - they like it, but your constructive opinions, good or bad, would, as always, be appreciated.
