My personal, experimental DHTML-based web site. Written under an XHTML Strict DTD and designed to render properly under the major 5th-generation and higher browsers. (Mozilla appears to be the best, currently - Opera seems to have a few issues.)

The focus is on separation of content and style (try disabling the CSS using the "Theme selector" @ top right of the page). Thoughts/comments/criticisms?

ok quick i have to go to work in a minute.

1) in opera 7 the different boxes do not line-out correct. They look like someone has moved them a bit and not put them back on the right place.

2) the corners from the boxes are abit jaggy

3) well the style-switches work well

It's a nice look, and you've got some nice content there (you're working on a DHTML version of Scorched Earth? I've got to play that when it's done!). I don't have much to complain about, actually, just one tiny (literally) problem: the text. It's miniscule, and you've got it fixed so I can't change it in IE. The only thing that changes when I CTRL+mousewheel are the bullets! I realize you've got a lot of content there, but it is very hard to read. If the text were a little bigger--or, better yet, relatively sized, although I realize that might wreak havoc with your design--I would be a very happy camper.

Although I'm a pretty happy camper as it is. Scorched Earth...

[Edit: Just played Arkanoid... very nice! I can't wait to try out the level editor... gotta go eat dinner first.]

Thanks for the comments..

I've been meaning to add a font switcher (for both family and point size) but just haven't gotten around to it yet. Same goes for Opera, despite it apparently having great CSS support my current design breaks on it - why exactly, I'm not sure.

I have a lot of other work and older stuff currently linked, there's a fair bit to look at if one has time to kill - Scorch is a project I'm working on currently, it should be fairly entertaining [ once it's finally finished! ]- the goal is to recreate the primary aspects of the game along with the original weapons etc. I am working on the basic "artillery" style and turn-based play at the moment.
