Overall if i was interested in such a thing.. I believe I wouldnt have a bad feeling for the site. It is rather light, but that was one of your objectives. The only thing that jumps out to me initially is the Black text links on the Croquet page, where the background is the grassy one. Slightly hard to read. Even thought its unecessary with a second nav menu on the left with better color.
