It works without problems on both Mozilla1.3 and Opera 6.0 on Linux :) The Doctype you've specified doesn't exsist. I think you need to add an 'x' in front of the first 'html' in the doctype, but I'm not sure. You should also specify what character enocding your page is using. This will ensure that the characters are displayed as they are supposed to be to everyone.
