The color scheme is much better... much easier on the eyes. I still disagree with having different link colors in the menus and in the text (not to mention the different hover effects). I would make them all blue if I were you, for consistency. Also, you might want to run your text through a spell checker (for example, "batch" is misspelled in the second menu on the left).
