Splash page: Since this is your personal portfolio, you can to do what you want, but seriously, I still don't think you need a splash page... And what's with the "Tear here" thing? And it's in Flash, too? If that's a metaphor for something, I don't get it. Either way, that's some really unnecessary Flash... Background: Specify, specify. Doctype: Strongly recommend that you [url=http://faq.ozoneasylum.com/460]get one.[/url] It's (technically) not a webpage without it. Encoding: Another must-have. Again, [url=http://faq.ozoneasylum.com/1038]get one.[/url] Buttons: 1. They're too big: Shrink 'em a little, will you? 2. There's too many: Group relevant sections together. I don't like to scroll that much. 3. They're too blurry: Seems to be a popular effect nowadays. Personally, I think they'd look better without the blur. Code: There's not much there, actually. Everything is in the images. And you're not using any CSS at all. Couldn't hurt to learn a little... Images: Everything's an image. And as if that wasn't bad enough, you don't have any alt text. It's not much work at all to specify alt text for images, and it makes your site navigable at least, when images are turned off. Layout: Looks a little sparse. Besides that though, the elements on your page don't really fit together, visually. It just seems to me that you've got a lot of different styles clashing together.
