I disagree with krets, I think as long as you don't have masses of content (and use a div with overflow instead of an iframe) the use of white space looks good 2. I like the spider. 3. Don't use an image for your body text, I don't mind the silkscreen in the nav (you'll want to look into [url=http://www.stopdesign.com/also/articles/replace_text/]FIR[/url] for that) but that will make it a usability disaster. Likewise, you could easily use plain text to the titles. Other than that, I quite like it, there isn't much more I can think to say until you get coding.
