As it turns out, FIR itself ain't all that usable... As for what you've got, the spider doesn't look too bad--it is mildly creepy, but mildly creepy can be good. I also dislike iframes and inline scrolly thingies, but not for the reason that quisja suspects. I do like whitespace--take a look at my site to see how I use whitespace. In fact, krets also makes good use of white space on his site as well. But I cannot speak for him, so I will only speak for myself: my objection to "inline scroll thingies" is not that they create whitespace, but that they are often used [i]unnecessarily[/i] (to borrow krets' words). I don't really see the need for it here, that's all. It has nothing to do with whitespace. Other than that, it is clean, and I like clean.
