It feels like it needs a little something though, on the colors. Everything is a little too similar. It needs some little bit of accent added. My solution would tie in with my only other gripe - It would be immensely helpful if the navigation menu showed you where you were, and acted accordingly. For instance, when loading the index page, I shouldn't see a link to "Home" - it should instead be a non-link, with some visual indication that it is different than the other menu items. You could then add a new color as the background color for this indicator, and solve two problems with one solution.
