It uses the same engine as Mozilla, which is already version 1.6. The only difference is that the Firebird interface itself is not as polished as Mozilla's. I would make sure that pages are at least readable in IE5+, Opera 7, and Mozilla 1.6 in Windows, and if possible, IE5 and Safari for Mac.
