Well, my site still gets just a *hair* more than 10% of NS4.x browsers. One of the benchmark sites I use is my old employer VISI.com, 10,000 users, a pretty average slice of the midwest, and NS4.x accounts for over 20% of their traffic, based on *visitors*, not hits. I'm not abandoning NS4 yet. FWIW, I use a macintosh, many of the old-school designers still do, it's what we started with. MSIE 5.0 is a horrible joke, slow, buggy, but with built in auction tracking! (Big deal!) NS6.x is frighteningly slow, even the newest Mozilla builds. Javascript on Netscape 4.72 on my Mac is neck and neck the fastest, compared to MSIE5.5 on my PIII. So! *I* am one of those schmoes you speak of. (I also occasionally surf around with one of my old .96b or 1.1 browsers, just for the good laugh, or sometimes a pleasant surprise. I'll bet that a majority of those folks using those old browsers are not real people, but people testing things out like I do.)
