Aarrgh, I hate to admit it but they're right. As much as I hate WinME, and i [b]REALLY[/b] hate WinME, it is much stabler than Win98. However, if you know what you're doing, Win98 is good. If you're gonna go Win98 then go with IE, just because Microsoft put big money into making sure they meshed well. As far as your system goes, you shouldn't have any problem. I had an old AT form factor (that's real old) comp with 64 M ram and a k6-II that ran 98 and IE 5 beautifully. Also, if you're coming from Win95, the Win98 interface will be much more familiar than the WinME interface, which is patterned after the Win2K interface.
