hmm.. IE, up until v6, couldn't get the box model right to save it's life--and the box model is what drives the whole damn thing with CSS, save for typographical changes. Layout? All the box model... For your own feelin' goodness, know that IE6 gets the model correct, finally, as does NN6. All in all, it's a fairly compliant browser, best so far.
