Topic: flash in netscape (Page 1 of 1)

has anyone noticed netscape adding 2 pixels height (in this case anyway) to the cell that a flash file lives in?
Is it something to do with the object / embed, it seems very flash specific - it works when the flash file isn't in there?

youre seriously going to have to post a link, as well as what version of netscape, and what version of flash player youre using (im not entirely sure what version of flash player 4.x ships with, but 6 is new enough, it should be shipping with the 5 player).

ive got a few flash movies (generated in 4 and 5, played with the flash 5 player), and they have no problems in any browser. the only one that doesnt quite appear properly is one that is inside a frame, and it has to do with how ns deals with frames, not flash itself.

the suggestion that its a problem with "nested tags" is just silly, since thats how flash itself outputs the html code when you go to export it.

weeeeellllll, its sorted.
after many tweekings it was a matter of defining the V & H space and border values on the flash file.
