In a way. I had to agree to let the tool send info about the sites I visit back to Google. Firewalls don't see the transfer either. |

Nope, it's not spyware. But, if you're really paranoid, you can turn off "Page Rank" feature and then Google Bar will only connect to Google's server when you want to perform a search (otherwise, it will connect to Google's server on each page view in order to get page rank and a few more information)... |
