I read my name, so.. Yes, even if 1% people on earth still used NN4, 1% Internet users is like 1 million people. If I want to provide special features, I should be able to reach the widest possible public. But that's just me. About Iframes, well... Don't be that paranoid, I personally go unprotected, no ZoneAlarm (no need, just a manual virus check regularly), but I don't like Iframes. Sick and stupid people can use them in rare occasions, on f*d up websites. (up to you to avoid those websites, they're rare). There are patches, regularly, against that. Plain html is just not enough, we all want interactivity. Internet means so many contacts, connections, etc... That it is impossible to build a 100% secure system, but I surely wouldn't want to disable javascript because of that. Nimda surely won't hurt my physical person, and anti-virii are pretty efficient nowadays. And finally, Iexplore allows you to set security precisely (Java on/off, Scripting on/off...). The browser security flaws guninski mentionned are minor dangers, since only a few people can use them correctly. And you should only disable cross-frame scripting, but not active scripting. Companies should be aware of these things, but be sure you won't have problems with that too often as an individual. And NO! It is hard (not very hard depending on your host) to access your site, IFrames, can't!!! I SAID can't harm the security of your site that easilly. Unless you start coding server-side... Then you got to be aware as a programmer. It's like being scared of leaving home because a comet could strike you. It could happen.. And in informatics, you can protect yourself partly, the rest is up to big companies (but I didn't say they respect their clients).
