UBB Help
You know what? You're right. Just one detail: I read at the w3c that I can choose either <br></br> or <br/>. Still, I got a problem with XML: it's nice, but a good combination of server-side scripting and display tools/plug-ins (Flash-Java tipically) can get close to the benefits of XML. It's more a "concept", even if it has practical implications, than a real language. I even heard of XML based databases... Well, we already got ODBC which works pretty well. See how Office 2000 works: all documents, I said ALL (pp, word, xl) except Access databases, are made of an HTML "enhanced" nucleus. XL 2000 and XP files are "HTML tables with special attributes". So before XML, there already were similar programming concepts. Even if I admit that I need XML, I don't like something between HTML and XML.. What do I need XHTML for? It'll provide me with the ability to create custom document formats?... I already can.
