is there a thing like that?

i heard people talking that you can send xml-statements from client to server. is that true?
if so, how does such a statement look like?

Yep, there's a such thing and it's called XML-RPC: http://www.xmlrpc.com/

Also, take a look at SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) specification: http://www.w3.org/TR/SOAP/

i also found that w3-document about soap meanwhile. but those are always so abstract and full of theory.

gonna do some practice. any known tutes?
