As far as my limited understanding goes, XML can be displayed directly as a document, just like XHTML can, with style sheets and XSL and scripts determining how it's displayed. XHTML is an example of XML doing this; except that XHTML is made to look like ye olde HTML, so even old browsers can understand it. |
