... I just need you test this file, and tell me if any of the artwork //001 up to //005 are centered in the coloured box and not all over the place on IE5 up wards?. If you click on one //00 (something) link and it does not let you cilck another link tell me (if this happens it's the content layer cover it whole page). I just need MAC poeple here, as it's just a mac problem just in IE, which is pissing me off big style. As some of you know I redesigned my site and it going t*ts up on mac in IE only because of some layers, if mac users use mozilla they can see it in a full working goodness. It's just IE, it messes up the content layers position absolute's and the content in it, plus because it's moves it, it covers the navigation meaning you can't do anything once clicked (you have to refers the whole page). I'm tiring it to figure it out why the hell the Mac IE does this and not any other browser on mac? (I know this because I was using a mac all day today testing this out but I didn?t have the file it play around with, so I couldn't do a no the spot checking) This has been puzzling me now for two days since bill posters over at create forums said it a mess on a mac (in a long way of saying it though). I can't find what's wrong with it and why it's acting like this just in IE. The navigation works fine with IE on Mac and with other browsers too, It them darn layers with my content in. The only thing that is different with the content layers is an "align=centre valign=middle" for the table but surely that can't be it? (can it?) As my navigation tables are just set to default and the content ones are not. I added a table in the content layer because with out it the Mac IE just does not render the "align="absmiddle"" code for some reason. It really getting to me this is, because this is the only thing that stops it working on mac. This is why I want to do some little tests, as I don't have access to mac for a least a week now, so some help would be nice. MAC users you can have a full tub of cookies and pill if you test it ;) Thanks :D PS I tried what WS siad with the DOCTYPE setting but it all the same, so this does not work :(, but was worth a go to see if it helps. [Edit - If it's not this then I don't know why IE on mac does this, then I'll have to pull it down :( and re-think or re-work it, darn it!!!] -- DS -- [This message has been edited by Darkshadow (edited 06-26-2002).]
