UBB Help
Well, it's been a while since I've been in this forum... figures that I only come back when I need something, right? Heh. I'll have to try to make a more concerted effort in the future. Anyway, my question: In the section on compact boxes in the W3C CSS2 Specs, it says that setting up a box with "display: compact" and another box with a sufficient margin will basically produce a two-column table effect (see the link for an example). However, when I try this, I don't get vertical alignment (in other words, the left-hand element is on one line, and the right-hand element is on the next line). What I'm trying to do is have a small picture on the left with some descriptive text on the right. I've looked at some other resources concerning compact boxes, and they show the same results I've been getting (content on different lines). Am I going at this the right way, or is there another way to do it? Very simply, I just want a two-column table... without the table. Thanks for the help.
