Not sure what the best place to put this is,

i was wondering about animated gifs,
has anyone com across any browsers or cases at all that have problems with using them in any way,

just out of curiosity - thanks

Well, I do know that some of the older browsers had problems with animated GIFs if you started moving them around (DHTML-style). It's been a while since I've tried anything like that, though (like a few years).

Mozilla doesn't display them right when used as rollovers.

That Mozilla quirk varies from version to version and platform to platform.
Like mine, v1.1 on win2k, displays them correctly.

I think the original v1.0 failed to display the last frame in the series on the anim gifs.
