Yeah, that is a bit of a bummer. I got an active x script to load the alpha channel of a PNG I was setting for a background once but it would automatically scale the background image up to fill the entire element. I wanted it to tile so I ditched the idea. If you don't need it to tile and let me know and I'll see if I can dig up the syntax for it. A couple of suggestions: Try setting a filter for the text elements and set their opacity to 100%. Otherwise you could nest two elements inside another one like Cprompt suggested. I'd make both nested elements absolutly positioned. Set the parent block element's size and set overflow:hidden. Make one of the nested elements 100%x100% iin size and set it to a z-index of 1, set background and poacity filter. Set the other nested block element to a z-index of 2 and put your text in it but don't set any height/width properties. Edit: 3 replies in 4 minuites! Now that's service!
