Topic: deleteData and insertData

I'm trying to fix a problem that I created when I made some XML files incorrectly at work.
I have about 64 files that I need to go through and modify the text in them.

I have all the program written and ready to go, BUT...I don't know how to directly edit data in an XML file.
I can open the file and read the text, but I don't know how to delete the old data and replace it with the new.

I am trying to use the CharacterData object methods deleteData and insertData, but I can't seem to correctly create a CharacterData object.

[edit: Its worth adding that ASP deals with XML really nicely as long as the XML modules are installed so you shouldn't have any problems implementing and ASP solution.]

Ah right - well I can assure him that it is all pretty straightforward - the examples in the zip are a great help. I'm looking forward to the next version so I can finish the RSS implementation
